                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 27 WEST
                   19TH STREET, BEING ON THE NORTHEAST LINE OF
                   WEST 19TH STREET NORTHWEST OF MARKET STREET,
                   FROM M-1 MANUFACTURING ZONE TO C-3 CENTRAL
                   BUSINESS ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 27 West 19th Street,
                being on the northeast line of West 19th Street
                northwest of Market Street. Lot 3, Lots 2 and 3,
                Resubdivision of Part of Block "D", Central Realty
                Company's Resubdivision of Lots 1 and 2, Fort
                Negley Addition to Chattanooga, as shown by plat of
                record in plat book 44, page 271, ROHC; being part
                of the property described in deed book 3485, page
                469, ROHC.  Tax Map No. 145LD-B-5.2.
               
               
         from M-1 Manufacturing Zone to C-3 Central Business Zone.
        
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         provided by law.
